Chise/Kohoshi

Name story:

New Story: I liked her old appearance, so I kept the name as her stage name but with different spelling. It's an alterate reading of her real name's kanji (Chise or 小星) which basically means "little star."

As for the last names, both are named after members of the Onyanko Club (a girl group I love dearly.) "Nagata" is member Ruriko Nagata's last name, and "Kawai" is member Sonoko Kawai's last name.

Old Story: "Hoshi" is star, "ko" is child or little one. Normally, it's "Hoshiko," but I hate the way that name sounds so I switched it around. I know that's extremely weird... but... I like it that way...

Anyways, she was named after her initial character design of having literally "galaxy" eyes. I toned it down a bit with Mako eyes but they are still that indigo color.

CHARACTER REWRITE:

Chise Nagata is a university student in her sophomore year. She is not yet sure what she wants to major in. She has been working as a model since she was a young child, but she wouldn't say she's super famous. Her current stage name is "Kohoshi Kawai." Ever since, she pays her way through school and her housing arrangement by her modeling income, although she doesn't particularly enjoy it. One day, she is shooting with a fresh face in the modeling scene: a mysterious girl known as Ring Moriyama and her equally strange foreign agent, Heiwa Yon. Due to a series of unfortunate events, she finds Ring and Heiwa in a fight to the death later on. She learns that Ring is immortal, and Heiwa is the "peace keeper" sent from the underworld to eliminate her. Kohoshi then learns some strange truths about the world that humans should have never known...

OLD CHARACTER DESCRIPTION, no longer used (TW EDs, bulimia)
Kohoshi is a Japanese model. She is very naive and innocent. She looks at mostly everything in a positive light. However, she hides a dark past. She used to (and still secretly does) battle bulimia that was worsened by her modeling career. She moves around from company to company once managers found out this fact. (she is also not very punctual) Eventually, she is transferred to the failing company momo*pop and Hayate becomes her manager. He treats her well, and allows her to eat as much as she wants. After transferring, her bulimia begins to go away as she gains self confidence. She transfers in just after Esther and Ethan arrive. She is often paired with Ei-tan in advertisements as they share a similar "cutesy" style. She is also the last to find out that Ei-tan is a boy.

Her best friend, Mika, is another model who belongs to another company she used to work for. Despite technically being rivals, they retain a close friendship, although they couldn't be more different personality wise.

Suzuho is her love rival for Hayate (although he has no interest in Suzuho.) They have a somewhat strained relationship because they don't understand each other's lifestyles.
