Head purchased via DoA from xLittlexMissxMuffet who purchased it via DoA from Yuikino. He came to me on a Magical Michael SD10 body with Magical Michael box which she had purchased via DoA from allemarthe.
Body purchased at Volks LA Dolpa 3 in a split with InvisibleWings who won the lottery for a DearSD Tiffany (#4).

Reason for choice:

My partner talked me into getting an Ushi to be Ciaran because she wanted one. Once we were introduced to the DearSD at the second LA Dolpa, we decided to make all of the youngest kids in our doll family DearSDs.

Best Points:

I can use huge eyes in his head, unlike most of my other dolls.
DearSD body engineering is amazing.

Worst Points:

His SD10 clothes are a little baggy and long now.

Ushiwakamaru was released at the Volks Dolls Party 13 on 3 MAY 2005 for 81,900 yen. He is the only SD limited boy to be released with the jointed torso and tabi feet. He is based on a historical character (Minamoto no Yoshitsune) like all of the other dolls in the "Echoes of a Beautiful Banquet" series.

Name story:

It's a nod to Pauline's Gaelic side of the family. Ciaran means "little dark one" and his middle name is his grandfather's.

Ciaran is son of Pauline Adams, fraternal twin of Roshan, and the youngest of all his siblings and cousins, but he does his best to keep up with their vocabulary because he likes to tell jokes. He's energetic, silly to the point of obnoxiousness, and only quells his rowdy behavior when in the presence of his very delicate cousin Vivi. He is closest to his sister Roshan who shares his love for adventure and dirt.
