I just loved her expression and her cute, chubby cheeks! It may seem weird, but I also like how her nose is rounded at the tip, too, as most of my dolls have a pointy nose. xD I also wanted a girl that I can dress up in cute frilly clothes or more casual clothing, as my other two girls kind of have more specific tastes in fashion.

Name story:

I just took one look at her and felt that Claire just suited her. ^_^ However, I thought leaving it as just "Claire" was too short, so I thought it would be a good idea to give her a middle name, and decided on Renee because I thought it sounded really nice along with her first name, but then her name ended up feeling unfinished to me, so I picked out the last name Rosewood for her. :D

At the young age of 8, Claire is a very adorable and independent child who is fairly capable of taking care of herself. This is mostly due to her wealthy aunt and uncle, whom she was placed in the care of when her parents had passed away, are hardly ever around and leave Claire to her own devices, aside from providing her with an allowance and a place to live. Because of this, had to learn how to do housework and how to get around on her own very early on. She likes to believe that she's all grown up and is above all forms of childishness.She tries to project that through her mannerisms and her speech, but every now and then she lets down her guard and that mature front she puts up melts away, such as when she's pining away for a toy that has caught her fancy or if she's bored at home and dressing up in her nicest dresses and pretending she's a princess who rules and protects her own kingdom single-handedly.
Unfortunately, Claire has difficulty dealing with people and opening herself up to others because of her situation, even though deep down she is frustrated by this and longs to establish close relationships with people and is really very lonely. When the feeling of loneliness is too overwhelming for her to bear, she tries to block it out by going out in town to shop and buy cute clothes and other things that she likes as well as to just surround herself with people, even if they may not even notice her. Sometimes she doesn't return home from her outings until the following day and just takes shelter at a nearby playground because going back to an empty mansion makes all of the sorrow she holds in well up inside of her.
