Reason for choice:

I fell in love with the way Darjeeling Aesthetics paints lips on Celine, Feeple60s and Minifees. It opened my eyes to the possibilities of the sculpt.

Best Points:

Holds poses well, stands like a rock, can stand on one foot too!

Worst Points:

Cannot pull her knees to her chest, unless I just haven't figured out her joints yet. But the way her hips are designed it looks like they're not meant to do that.

This wig was a clients commission, however my previous purple wig has been gutted and I haven’t gotten around to remaking it, plus I loved this shot I got in the teal. Wig is in the hands of @createdbymonsters on instagram ^_^

Name story:

I asked a friend for help with city girl names; together we ended up with Clarissa! Instead of Clarice, which is similar to my other doll Karis.

Clarissa is a fashion student in NYC. She is best friends with Rain, who was her roommate until Rain moved away from the city.

With Rain they are the fashion dream team. Rain makes beautiful garments but is unable to show them to their full potential. Clarissa is the powerhouse of fashion show production and styling. Their classmates underestimate them both separately but together they steal the show.

Clarissa has a little bit of Napoleon complex, but only if you point out how short she is. She is a Scorpio (despite her arrival date making her a Pisces, her personality is more a Scorpio) and like scorpions she stockpiles food. Rain gets on her case about her hoards of junk food. This is perfect with the slightly chubby Moe body, but she's so active with school she still looks fit.

Clarissa is a loner, and if she and Rain were not roommates she probably wouldn't have had a best friend at all. Not to say she can't be social but she prefers not getting close to people and working alone. She's almost never home at her apartment, Clarissa doesn't like to be home very often, but she does appreciate that it's the place Rain's letters go to.
