Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     Bought him off of ebay, from someone who said they were not his first owner. I'm told he was a Soulmate Limited Edition.
    Reason for choice:
    Ren had been my grail since long before I got into the hobby. I saw him back in high school and instantly wanted one of my own.
    Best Points:
    His face, his durability. He stands like a champ, and he's yellowed VERY slowly.
    Worst Points:
    He IS old. He's got single joints and baby hands, and he can't pose very well.
    Back before I got into the hobby, I'd wanted one of these dolls so badly, I was willing to pay someone I didn't know in Korea just to get me one. Unfortunately I then needed to use the money on other things, and years passed before I had enough for him again. Sadly, he'd long been discontinued. I was ready to put down the money for a completely different doll when, on a whim, I checked ebay. There was an almost-ended auction for the exact doll I was looking for, and I pounced. Crow was my first doll, and also my first project doll. He was filthy and damaged when I got him, so he's been cleaned, repaired, and modified (his head can be removed without restringing him now). I'll probably have him forever.
