I actually bought this doll to be Satoru's little brother at one point, while slimming my collection down I realized it would work for Daniel, though. Who I have been reshelling since 2010.

Name story:

Dunno, at some point I thought it'd be a bright idea to take all English names in his story from the Christian Bible (disclosure: I am not Christian). And I like the name Daniel. He has a stuffed lion based on his name, but the name came first.

Daniel is young and stupid, and all the silly things that go along with that. He has a little difficulty seeing beyond his own life and his own problems. He has good intentions, but his perception of reality is often skewed by his inexperience.

He has a playful sort of personality and likes to tease. He enjoys talking with people, and has a geniune curiosity to know more about them. His enthusiasm tends to win people over quickly. He has an honest nature, with just the right touch of innocence to set people off guard.

But underneath all the fluff he’s got steel. He doesn’t back down from challenges, and is stubborn enough to match with anyone. He may seem innocent, but he’s weathered some tough spots and it left its marks. If it hasn’t seemed to scratch him . . . well, he’s very good at pretending he’s okay.

He doesn’t let himself show his anxiety or fear to other people. It’s part that he has learned not to expose his weaknesses, and part that he doesn’t want to distress anyone. Daniel when he is by himself is completely different from Daniel in a crowd. His energy fades some, he is more pensive and hesitant. Daniel does a lot more thinking than he is given credit for.
