Reason for choice:

I already had a Selina that I had ordered from The Doll Peddlar just about the time Unidoll went out of business. I liked her face sculpt so much and considered her to be my favorite doll. I kept noticing that Doll Peddlar still had one in stock so I finally broke down and bought her, as much as a back-up (just in case) as for a twin.

Best Points:

I just love the shape of her nose, mouth and chin. She's pretty but not too pretty, still unique as I've not yet seen any other doll quite like her. I also like her statuesque body.
I was also able to acquire a Selina head with geisha make-up from the DoA marketplace. Originally sold by Unidoll, evidently, it's a beauty.

Worst Points:

Her hands seem a bit clumsy to me.

Name story:

Like my other large dolls, she is named after a character in author Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe mystery series. Also, my first Selina is named Phoebe and I thought the names Phoebe and Daphne would go well together as they are both of Greek origin.
