Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     Reason for choice:
    I looked for two years for a sculpt for Darche. I knew I wanted large eyes, pouty lips, and teeth, but nothing too immature and I knew that with this sculpt I could make him look forlorn and (if he was a human) to be in his early twenties. When I saw the event page last winter I knew it was him and devised a way to get my mitts on him; lucky for me, a dear friend was making a qualifying order from Luts at that time!

    Doesn't quite fit the Aprilstory body's size/proportions/aesthetic so I am moving him to a the NEWER Mirodoll 66 cm body, but the resin match is off and he will need blushing.

    Darche is a Sidhe (Celtic, human-like in stature and appearance, faerie) so he travels through time and wears a variety of clothing, or will, as I only have the one outfit for him right now. He'll be styled in semi-fantasy/slightly-peasanty/medieval/otherworldly clothing. When he visits the human world he likes to wear loose fitting dress shirts and slacks and his long coat, with a hat to cover his ears if his glamour isn't working.

    Darche is a Sidhe of the fae world Annwn. He is a servant to the royal family of the Seelie court; his main duties as a child were to be the playmate of the Princess Rhina and so he grew up with her, is her best friend and confidante, and is, of course, secretly and madly in love with her.
    Darche is part human but his family has been serving the royal family since the dawn of time and so they disregard this fact and protect him and love him as one of their own, anyway, but he never forgets and will always obey and be true to his duties and whatever is asked of him.
    After Rhina was exiled form court, the Queen sent him to go with her and be her companion (or well, keep an eye on her more likely). They have lived and loved and been friends for as far back as they can remember and Darche is the only one who can stand Rhina and her mood swings and craziness and still love her for it, even though she doesn't really take that into consideration most times. He lives for Rhina, and his sole purpose is to serve her and protect her, and he will do ANYTHING for her.
    But, it's not all hugs and kisses for Darche, for Rhina doesn't always return his feelings and is rather nonchalant with him.
    And then there is the darkness that looms over him, controlling that human side of him with a dark magick, sucking his fae power from him slowly. His father, the druid Ither.
