    Reason for choice:
I had missed out on the first, original release. So I had to have him when he was released again.
    Best Points:
I was in the pre-sale event group, so I got all the bells and whistles as well as a discount for preorder.

His joints lock at different positions so he can hold poses. I love all the details and features, as well as his fantasy and human parts. The clothes were the same as the previous release and were pretty detailed.
    Worst Points:
The locking joints sometimes sound like you're breaking something. O.o
The tank pegs are fragile, even though they have metal pins in them. On my guy the human leg is like a millimeter or two shorter..but it's alright with boots/shoes on.
I painted and worked on DaVinci on my own. He was a first time blushing and painting job. I will eventually wash him down and mod/paint him again. I cut and styled his wig myself, and found his eyes CCBJD. They are fuschia silicone eyes.

I originally based the concept of DaVinci from a book I had read and loved. "Servant of the Bones", by Anne Rice.

    Here is a bio snippet:

    History

DaVinci started out as an ancient set of bones. He remembers being called, and commanded into the bones, but nothing of his existence before that moment. He doesn’t even know if those bones are his, or belong to some other long forgotten creature. Whatever happened, those bones are his home and have merged with him. He didn’t have a name back then, either. He was just a skeleton on a dias, unable to do much.

It was not until his bones were skillfully laid inside pieces of crudely stitched together body parts, and he was filled with organs, that DaVinci could actually do something. Of course, he had to learn to walk, talk, and meld his new form to his bones. If he didn’t, he’d fall apart. Time was of the essence as well. If he didn’t root himself into the body, he’d go back to whatever he came from. Davinci wanted to stay, to see this strange new place. He was determined to live, and to learn.

He was two months old when he was finally named, and had become his own being. A short time later, DaVinci’s home was destroyed. He currently wanders the outskirts of town, and traverses through the enchanted forests. He enjoys learning, meeting strange and wonderful creatures that the mortal world fears…or hunts.

DaVinci’s biggest gripe is that he is not a “bumbling corpse.” He’s very much alive, and he can function quite well. He’s very Intelligent. DaVinci firmly believes that he was born, perhaps not the way humans are born…but he was called to life out of ‘something’ and he was able to grow. Again, not the same as most things, but he grows in the mind and he believes that he too has a soul and feelings.

DaVinci can be temperamental at times, mostly with anxiety. He’s still learning about the world about him, and it can be overwhelming.
