1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    Modifications artist(s):
    Skeleton hands 3D-printed by Mortdolls
    Date of acquisition:
    May 2020
    Provenance:
    Bought from a Chinese hobbyist.
    Reason for choice:
    It's very different, it's got half its face missing and it's amazingly creepycool. I had to have it the moment I saw it for the first time, was definitely a grail head.
    Best Points:
    Everything, really. I love its nose so much.
    Worst Points:
    The weird design of the headback can be a nightmare with tight-fitting wigs. It is VERY DIFFICULT to paint and once you do, good luck cleaning all those small crevices.
    Just sharing the story of how difficult it was to get this head: Universe Doll doesn't sell the head separately through dealers or Chinese shopping services. The only way to get one is to purchase the whole doll, which is a 70 cm boy doll, and I don't want boy dolls and my max doll size is 65 cm, anything bigger than that is just... too big.
    So I put out a wtb all over the place in case someone wanted to sell their head for whatever reason and my wife was contacted on facebook by a Filipino hobbyist who had been contacted by their Chinese hobbyist friend who had seen my wtb and wanted to sell the head since they were buying the whole doll but only wanted the body. However they didn't speak enough English and couldn't (or didn't want to) ship to EU from China, so they contacted their Filipino friend to get in contact with me (or my wife, since I'm not on FB). And that is how I finally got just the head and this wild story on top. :'D The Chinese hobbyist was also nice enough to give me the CoA so I know it's the real deal and not a knock-off (although I doubt this sculpt has been recast since it is very very intricate and detailed) and the Filipino dealer was the nicest person and very professional, they kept me up to date with everything that was happening.

    Goes to show how, in this hobby, there are still so many nice and helpful people willing to help others to get their grail dolls over language barriers and everything.
  • Eyes:
    Unknown acrylic
    Wig:
    Natrume
    Fashion style(s):
    Revealing, dancer-like
    She wears a dancer-inspired skirt and top adorned with jewelry and covers the lower part of her face with a veil. I wanted her makeup to be tired smoky-eye and quite beautiful in contrast of the missing part of her face.
  • Name story:
    I have an original character who is a Haitian vodouisant lich and appears as a skeleton. The doll is named after her because of her skeleton parts.
    Offsite roleplay:
    This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
