Provenance:

HZ logo molded into the back of his head; history related by previous owner. I am the 3rd owner of this doll, which was probably made in 2009. Confirmed. I now have his COA and other documents from his previous owner.

Reason for choice:

He looked beautiful in his auction photos, and was temptingly written up by the seller. He is connected to the artist Heise, whose work I admire. Also, he came with a nice selection of clothing & wigs.

Best Points:

Everything, and especially his pure smooth resin.

I tried to find out about Heise's character 'Schuster Fei' and so far have discovered only that he is one of 5 demon warriors. Therefore, I'm uncertain whether 'Drake Vincent' is an immortal living incognito among mortals, a reincarnation of a (formerly) immortal being into human form, or a human man who happens to resemble a legendary character.
I was given permission by the last owner to keep using the 'Drake Vincent' name and some character traits. So Drake Vincent remains a rockstar with a scorching stage presence, but who in private life is actually a shy and sensitive creative artist in music and lyrics. He maintains a distance from his public and has a legendary disdain for groupies.
Oh, really? Well, he must have, long ago, once been sufficiently tempted, because he has recently discovered that he has a 14 year old child he never knew he had ('Jamie McQuinn' on DoA ) and now he has put his career on hold to join Jamie at our house, in a concentrated attempt to become acquainted with and bond with his son. There are many different ways to be a hero. This is one of them.
