Reason for choice:

Quartz Qin had posted pictures of her amazing gray skinned Cota before. When I saw it for the first time I was awestruck and needed to know which doll she was. I loved her delicate face. When she wasn't available for order, I messaged Dust of Dolls begging them to release her, and my prayers were overheard. I was so happy when she finally was available for pre-order <3

Worst Points:

Her legs are kicky and difficult. A bit of wire and hot glue solved it for me.

Duende wears an outfit inspired by characters of the videogame Tree of Savior. I combined the Pardoner and Dievdirbys class outfits into one. Everything about her is handmade, mostly by me except for the shoes.

She wears:
- a pink blouse with gathered sleeves and gathered around her neck, with embroidery at the shoulders.

Name story:

El duende is the spirit of evocation. It comes from inside as a physical/emotional response to art. It is what gives you chills, makes you smile or cry as a bodily reaction to an artistic performance that is particularly expressive.
I first heard this word in 2016, it was explained in an audio book by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. It moved me very much and stuck with me. When Cota arrived this physical/emotional response was exactly what happened to me. The name seemed suiting :)
