  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     Reason for choice:
    Elgin was a gift from my Mother when I first wanted a BJD. I actually didn't initially like him because he had the head tattoo and huge chipmunk cheeks. I put him away for a long while because I was upset that he wasn't the one I wanted (a Tan Dollzone Yuu). I fell in love with him after he started to age with me, his resin turned from stark white to a creamy yellow, I bought him a "better" faceup (prior to me actually doing them) and some clothing. Although he wasn't what I wanted, he became so important to me that he would be the last material item I would give up.
    Best Points:
    He constantly pouts.
    He's also very sturdy, I was not a careful kid and would often times leave him sitting on the end of my bed and find him toppled over when I came back to get him. He has never broken a finger, had a chip in him or anything, he is a giant brick of a doll.
    Worst Points:
    I have had several face-ups on him, and he looks un-amused no matter what. Older DZ dolls headcap have a brim around them that doesn't fit flush with their head. He has the least sexy feet I've ever seen, they look like Frankenstein Monster feet with long toenails.

    Despite him having clothes, he tends to hang out shirtless. I honestly think that he would *prefer* to have a light white cotton shirt on with white lounge pants. He's overly simple and doesn't like flashy clothes.

    Elgin was named after a punk guy that went to my highschool. I thought his name was so cool and different, I had never heard anything like it before. After many years, I still haven't seen another doll; or human with the same name.
