1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

  • Face-up artist(s):
    Rollingpumpkin (1 of 10)
    Modifications artist(s):
    Faceup was repaired by Osaka (scuffs in face blushing)
    Date of acquisition:
    April 27th 2006
    Provenance:
    Because of his limited nature he came with a special box, which unfortunately I used to ship a doll body, and also special papers which are saved in another doll box.
    Reason for choice:
    I knew that I needed him the second I saw him. I wasn't sure exactly who he would be but I was desperately in love with the basic version and when the limited edition version came out I was frantic.
    Best Points:
    Gorgeous body, beautiful details.
    Worst Points:
    TERRIBLE POSER. My Little Juniors can stand, and sit, and that is it. They can't easily bend their arms, or pose in anything but a basic stand or sit. I have not attempted wiring or sueding, because he is irreplaceable and I fear damage.
  • Eyes:
    14mm Greengrey, default
    Wig:
    Custom fur wig by me.
  • Name story:
    Elli was supposed to be this soft sweet fluffy little guy and ended up being this sour emo kind of boy instead, but I couldn't bring myself to call him Eli instead. I had settled on Elli, as a slightly feminized nickname and so it has stayed.
    Character age:
    Roughly 14-16. His character is older than the look of his sculpt.
    Character gender:
    Male
    Offsite roleplay:
    This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
    Elli ran away from home for reasons he has declined to share with his foster family. His foster brother Ro found him squatting at the park when he was out for a walk one evening, and brought him home to his parents. After some pleading on Ro’s part and hopeful silence on Elli’s, their parents consented to foster Elli, and made it legal.

    Several different social workers and therapists tried to get him to open up about where he was from and what his name was, but Elli refused to speak at all. Initially he would only speak to Ro, who had coaxed him out of the park rather like a hopeful kid tries to catch a feral cat. Elli had violent and emotional outbursts that clearly indicated prior trauma, and after some doctors’ visits and panic attacks it was clear that he had been sexually abused in his former life. Neither Elli, nor his new parents told Ro. Elli was 10 as clear as he could remember when the fostering was made legal.

    Ro treated him like the little brother he had always wanted, which was a double sided blade for Elli, since some of his friendly qualities mirrored his real brother Holland. As far as Elli knew Holland had no way to find him, since he had fled the state and been lucky enough to get to Texas from their California home. As he grew older, and began to trust Ro, he told him about some of the things that Holland had done, that had been done to Holland, and how their mother had died. Ro became smotheringly protective and possessive, which made Elli anxious and he took to running off for days, finding kids to drink with, and stumbling home drunk, angry, and without direction.

    When he would come home, Ro locked him in his bedroom, and Elli would curl up and cry, hide, scream into his pillow until he would fall asleep. Ro would always unlock the door in the morning and not mention it. Elli felt obliged to apologize but he hated to talk about it.

    From that point Elli and Ro’s relationship became complicated. Elli wanted the security and protection that Ro offered, but feared unknown hidden obligations, so he found himself tightrope walking the line between shoving the Wolfe family away as a whole, and clinging to them desperately in an attempt to find normalcy.
