Posing isn't always easy with a slippery yet stiff doll (arms tend to rotate themselves inside tops, for example)

She's my first Fairyland doll, I purchased all of her parts secondhand and here she is! Originally she was going to share a body with another girl, but I decided to shell my other girl as a younger version of herself instead.

I fell in love with the sculpt after researching different sculpts and finding those stunning girls of Andreja's. I felt the sculpt, when painted correctly, could really bring out the gothic beauty which is my little Elsie!

I'm still picky about how I shall shell her husband's character - Tasso. Her face character is loosely inspired by Marina and the Diamonds, and she's clearly referenced throughout her bio. (Tasso's is Jensen Ackles, or something close to that, loosely.)

Elsie loves to wear dresses, she's very feminine in how she dresses and how she behaves. Her style corresponds with her desire to be the perfect dream, the ideal housewife, the ever youthful mother (not that she can age, with the system of her world). She disguises her true feelings beneath the faux front, ain't youth meant to be beautiful? Her signature is the hairbow, and her hair + hairbow are references to Minnie Mouse.

Name story:

Originally her name was Pizza Pie (I created her character back when I was around 9 or 10) - then I decided it was time for a change. Elsie to me has always struck me as a spooky, beautiful name - and it just stuck really nicely to her character.
