  • Name story:
She's sort of serving two purposes right now. As my Dollmore Lusion's half-Japanese sister in her story, she is called Emily Valentine/Sunako. Her non-backstory name is Ankhenspnamun because that's what I always told myself I would name my ultimate dream doll. Maybe if I get a second trinity I'll split the names between two dolls, but for now she's just going to have all of them.
    Character age:
Late teens to early thirties depending on the outfit.
    Character gender:
    Female
    Offsite roleplay:
This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
For the part of her that fits in with my other doll's backstory, the idea came from was reading a lot of books on Japanese history. The Snow Flower Jude was my favorite sculpt, and I knew if I got a Trinity she'd have to at least partially fit in to Cordelia's backstory. From that and the fact that Cordelia is mostly a Victorian era character and the Snow Jude looks sort of like her but much paler, I came up with the idea that she had a much older half-sister from her father's travels in Japan. Still working out the exact story, but the general idea is that their father is part of a trading company and married a Japanese woman on one of his trading missions. Their father is forced to leave when their illegal marriage was discovered, and thinks that his wife died in her attempt to follow him. He didn't know that his wife survived and that he had a daughter on the way. Sunako grows up in Japan as more or less an outcast/object of curiosity given her mother's history and her mixed features (she has grey eyes and her facial features are somewhere between Asian and European). When her mother is dying, she reveals the identity of Sunako's father and the name of the company he worked for. Sunako, who at this point is about 18 or 19 years old, then goes on a journey to find her father and eventually finds him living in New York City with his second wife and Sunako's two half-siblings. She takes the name Emily and the rest of the story is about her trying to adapt to her new family and surroundings, and to try to find a way to fit in because she is "of two worlds" and living in an era where multiculturalism was pretty much nonexistent.

For the part that doesn't relate to Cordelia's backstory, she's basically my ultimate ideal of having a doll. In her more modern persona she wears a lot of Gothic Lolita and Steampunk fashions. I guess the overall impression is that she's essentially modern but channels the spirit of her ancestor or maybe her previous life from time to time.
