Emmett knows much about his world as he's lived for longer than he can remember. He's an immortal tasked to observe the world, but what he's supposed to be observing is vague. He doesn't quite know what he's meant to do or if he is even meant to do anything. He likes to settle down here and there for a few years at a time, then he changes his appearance and moves on.
