She was my second BJD. I really wanted a girl. I'd already decided on the Model body and I was too inexperienced to attempt a hybrid. Tdelia was the head I liked best. Later I changed her body anyway.

Best Points:

Her grumpy expression is perfect for her character. The AoD body has serious tummy muscles, perfect for my karate kid.

Worst Points:

Resting b**** face means she never looks happy when I buy her pretty things. I miss swivel joints with the AoD body.

Erika is an only child. Her mother is busy with work and her father is busy with his other family in another country. At nearly 17, she feels frustrated that her life is still out of her control. The news that they will be relocating once again leads to her running away to make a point. She meets Dalena, lies about her age and circumstances and joins her as her apprentice. Despite her initial deception, Erika is physically fit as a purple belt at karate, and given a goal to focus on is committed and hard-working. She believes she can make a difference in Ridley's world whereas in her own she is treated like a child and nothing she does seems to matter. Along with Ridley she also makes friends with Finn and Sabine, and convinces them to help her.

She is determined and stubborn but these traits often get her into trouble, making her argumentative and difficult. While she craves independence, this sometimes means she pushes others away rather than accepting their help, believing that the only way to get a job done right is to do it herself. However she is threatened by those she sees as better than her at anything she takes pride in. So Sabine makes her uneasy as not only does she have more experience in real fights but she is also older, taller, slimmer and close to Finn. Eventually she grows to respect others' abilities and learns that she is not always right, but being wrong isn't the end of the world.
