Name story:

Erzulie means "Goddess of Love" in Vodou. Lacuna means "missing part, unfilled space/interval or blank space" in Latin, which she was a missing part for my creativity for a while, so she was blessed with this middle name. Stella means "star" in Latin and Nova means "new" in Latin. Her nickname Rue comes from the bitter medicinal herb and favorite Hunger Games character dedication. Plus, her nickname just kinda stuck to her.
