Fei means "to fly" in Chinese. Though Fei can't fly anymore, I thought it would be still the perfect name for him.

Actually Fei should reign Shinshou (Angels World) for his older, blind brother Sora because he was not able to wage war after the father's retirement. However this situation changed rapedly while Fei was at war against the demon forces.
In this war his rival Keito, prince of Rasetsukoku (Demonworld), disgraced him by cutting of is wings and hurting him until he was never able to walk nor stand up by himself again.
In fact his nation still stands behind him and trusts in their prince and Fei also gives his best to come up with strategic arrangements to defend the Kingdom against the Demons. Though, Shinshou lost reputation because they can't show a "worth" successor for the kingship.
Nevertheless Fei is reliant on Soras help, who can see the future in his dreams. Also the young prince always can count on Chiakis, his guardian Hisashi and Kadajis help.
