I saw this sculpt in a music video and I just had to find out what kind of doll she was. I found out she was a DIM Flora and just fell in love with the sculpt! She is the first sculpt I fell in love with and is my first BJD!

Best Points:

Her facial features. Her eye shape, her nose, her lips and her cheeks. Her entire face is just a beautiful sculpt.

Worst Points:

Her head has yellowed a lot so it doesn't match her new body.

Flora has two wigs from Monique Gold."Paris and "Faith." Both in peach blonde with ginger brown. She's been wearing "Faith" a lot more these days. I buy most of her clothes from Etsy and Alice's Collections!

Name story:

Flora is her sculpt name and I can't think of a better name for her! I really like it and it suits her character. Her middle and last name were inspired by a movie I watched and also googling cute names!

Flora Jane Reeves is an old-fashioned but modern young girl with many talents who has a forgotten past. Her key necklace unlocks her music box. What could be inside?

Flora means flower. That name was given to her inspired by the Spring when all the flowers were in full bloom. Flora's story begins with her as an adolescent, 16 or 17. Her personality starts as shy, cheerful, sweet, childish, and innocent, but she is also headstrong. In the beginning, Flora is in a position of being powerless. She is put into a situation that makes her feel like she has no power. She becomes stronger in standing for what she believes in and grows into an independent woman who will go to any length to protect the ones she loves. During the ending, the role reverses. Somebody she once feared now respects her as his superior. She overcomes this powerlessness and starts to fulfill her rightful role. Somebody who is in control of the situation

In early childhood, she was talkative and free with words. She doesn't remember her mother, but she remembers her papa very well despite him passing away when she was 4. She remembers that he was always in his study, reading, and writing but always made time for her. He read children's books to her all the time!

She loves all flowers, but her favorite is "Clerodendrum Thomsoniae." (The White Bleeding Heart) It symbolizes purity and innocence and also represents beautiful young women who died in a tragic way.
Her sweet innocent baby face confuses everyone about her age, especially since she is childish but is mature when she needs to be. She loves flowers and gardening and has a green thumb. She went to a school for arts and music since she was little. She is artistic and creative with painting and drawing. She can play the piano and violin, can cook, and is a vegetarian. She loves sweets and loves to sing. Her voice is lovely. It sounds like wind chimes. She loves to read and is quite a bookworm. She loves all animals, but her favorite is owls.

She was raised in an orphanage near the water in the meadow/forest. She has a half-sister ( DIM Cordelia). I haven't decided on a name yet, and I don't currently own her sculpt yet. Flora is slowly losing her memory and doesn't remember how they got separated. However, her memories of her when they were children are clear as day. She can barely remember much, but she holds on to those memories. Flora's sister does remember but tries so hard to forget the past, she wants to see Flora again, but she can't.

Flora's plan is to unlock the secrets and clues and unravel the mysteries of her forgotten past. To find her sister before she completely loses her memory of her.
