Gabriel is the first born son of Seraphim making him the oldest of the seven. An Empath among his people, Gabriel is very sensitive to the emotions or attitudes of the people around him, and will often react to them depending on his own mood or view of you.

While he and his younger brother Remi do not often see eye to eye and are often coming to blows, he does respect Remiel and is the first to have his back in a fight.

He is very close to his brother Castiel, often seeking his advice in matters concerning the family. Castiel is the only brother who is able to ease or calm the eldest when his own emotions run away with him.

He does tend to take his position as the eldest very seriously, as he loves all of his siblings very deeply. (Even Remi). Among the humans he has become known as a bit of a rogue due to his ability to sense and respond to needs and emotions, a talent he uses at times to his own advantage.
