Reason for choice:

I had been developing a butterfly themed character with a purple and blue color scheme with the intention of shelling her as a doll for almost a year so when Fairyland released Carol I just knew her fullset would be absolutely perfect for what I had in mind!

Best Points:

I adore her little magnetic butterfly ear pieces! I also think she has a lot of chemistry with my Feeple60 Ria, Egret, who is her girlfriend!

Worst Points:

Honestly the Carol sculpt didn't speak to me at all when I first saw her in person, I thought she looked so emotionless and bland. But after spending more time with her and redoing her faceup (she was WS and had the default FL faceup originally) to something much more unique, expressive and dramatic I grew to really adore her~

Fashion style(s):

I typically imagine her to wear very fairy-like cute, ethereal, elaborate and feminine clothes but with a distinctive innocent/modest sort of feel. She also wears Japanese Kimonos and Wa-Lolita dresses which she may wear casually but this style is mostly meant as her ceremonial garb for when she performs her duties as the Guardian of the Land of Spirits. She typically does not like to wear clothes that are overly casual as she is seen similar to royalty or a deity in her world and feels that her wardrobe much always reflect accordingly.

Name story:

"Gazelle" is just a nickname, as all of my SD scale dolls have a real name and an animal nickname that canonically signifies they are a member of a group friends/allies known as "Inheritance". Her real name is Mayru (MAY-roo) which is a fictional name I made up as a child. There is a character from the PS1 game "Legend of Dragoon" named Meru who has large bows on her costume that I thought looked like butterfly wings and because I had never seen/heard a name like Meru before I thought it was pronounced "MAY-roo", so naming her Mayru is a bit of an inside joke from my childhood haha~
She is given the nickname "Gazelle" because of her beauty, grace and elegance, but also because she is so compassionate and selfless that predators may think her to be an easy target.
