Gil says he's lived in a few towns during his lifetime, but the one he settled in was the best. He worked as a hunter and occasionally, a guide. He was one of the favored hunting partners of the late lord of the area, and the mansion nearby.

As Rose left on her way to find her lost sister, Gil left with her. After all, he is skilled in navigating the world and generally staying alive. He is unlucky both games and in love.

Appearance-wise, he is very tall and gangly. Not the most handsome of people either... and always appears in a relative state of sleep deprivation.

His personality is open and humorous to cover up a poor self-esteem. He is very loyal to people he loves, and reacts to conflict between loved ones strongly. This often causes him to be the "voice of reason" and mediate in problem situations.
