I based her name off an old folk storybook about a dollmaker and his ballet masterpiece, Giselle. Since Giselle is a European name, I figured a french last name would be a natural combination.

Giselle is a quiet but curious girl. Most people think she's a mute because she hardly speaks at all, but when she does mutter a sentence or two, its like hearing a baby bird chirp, sweet and bell like. Giselle should appear bright and vivid, like a fresh spring day. She is often found sleeping under apple trees or in the fields with dew drops from the morning woven in her hair. She is innocent in every sense of word and her personality resembles a baby lamb, meek and shy, but quite energetic. Giselle loves animals and spends most of her time with her pet duck Dannan.
