History: The elder son of famed sorcerers and a distant cousin of the Sine Oracle, Gnaeus was the first of his bloodline not to be born with the gift of magic. At 13, following a catastrophic rift with his twin brother Cyrianus, Gnaeus lied about his age to enlist in the military. At 16, he purchased an officer's commission with winnings from a night of playing cards with his superiors. He was invited to join the Elite shortly afterwards.

Due to his intelligence, skill and considerable charm, he became a regular at the Court of Elaris, acting as courier between the Elite and the former King. After the death of King Luxarius, Gnaeus was instrumental in Silas Incanto's ascension to the throne.

Following the recent death of the Elite's previous commander, Gnaeus was chosen to lead the military’s most prestigious branch. He has earned dual reputations as a brilliant soldier and someone with ungodly good luck. He is a strategic mastermind, a shameless flirt, and the much-beloved hero and protector of an empire.
