Bought him on tumblr, can't remember from who. His body came from LuckyXIII here on DOA.

Reason for choice:

I loved his grumpy face, and the dog-like ears.

Best Points:

His big nose and his pointy ears and his lil teeth.

Worst Points:

Soom Chrom bodies cannot stand like at all.

Hybrid Notes: Grendel has been modded to fit onto his Soom body. His neck hole has been sanded wider/deeper. The resin did not match AT ALL, and his head had to be blushed. His legs are in need of re-sueding and are fitted with galvanized steel wiring so that he can stand, as they are very unstable otherwise.

His alternate head is a Sleep of Reason Zeev.

Name story:

Grendel is named after the first monster in Beowulf. For some reason, when I was a child and read it for the first time, my brain conjured up a werewolf as Grendel. So now that's my werewolf's name.

Grendel (full name Dr. Grendel Aristaeus) is a grumpy werewolf doctor, though he's not nearly as dangerous as he might seem. He's easily annoyed, but he'd never actually do anything drastic about it. He works for the military, who saw his monstrous abilities as a bonus and assigned him to a special paranormal division. Much of his early years were spent in a nomadic, half-wild lifestyle, so his manners leave much to be desired, but he's still quite intelligent. Just about the only person he gets along with is Nora, because she gets along with everyone.
