The youngest of fourteen siblings, Gwen is an adolescent in the fey world, and in the eyes of her blue-blooded family she acts like it. An aficionado of bright lights, Gwen rejected the behaviours expected of a Sidhe maiden and followed her independent spirit. Leaving her family's estate with the dawn of the Roaring Twenties, Gwen became a regular fixture in the glamour scenes of Europe over the decades, then in 1978 decided to escape her aristocratic roots once and for all and packed off to Australia.
Fiery and spontaneous, Gwen lives and enjoys her life to the full. A true woman of Celtic spirit, she is utterly fearless and will protect her own with the ferocity of a wolf. Her sheer stubbornness and pragmatism however mask a desire for grand passion and romance – Gwen longs secretly to be swept off her feet, which Raffael does often (usually by slinging her over his shoulder).
