I wanted a name that sounded roughly middle Eastern so I asked an Israeli friend for some common girl names. :) Her surname was a mash-up of letters that I liked.

Hadar appears to be a spoilt little princess most of the time, but she is really using the façade to distance herself from others so that they will not see her vulnerability. She is strong-willed, but friendly unless you cross her. Even then, she usually forgives easily and enjoys being around her friends despite her tantrums. She has been trained as a princess not to let her emotions (other than anger) to show, so even seeing her smiling sincerely is relatively uncommon.
