Hanbei comes from my favourite character in the Samurai Warriors game series. Can't remember how I came up with the Surname...think I looked up posh European surnames XD

Hanbei's story is pretty simple. He grew up in a rather nice and caring family who had a bit of an obsession with Asian cultures, particularly Japan.
They taught English for many years not far from Kyoto, where Hanbei had most of his childhood before moving to other areas to keep up with his parent's want to travel to more Asian countries.

It wasn't until he was 16 that his parents settled back in their home country, but without any friends or things to do, Hanbei found himself in the wrong places at the wrong times.
A gang leader Paris, also known by his street name 'The Panther', catches Hanbei in his claws, though the kid's silver tongue manages to save the boy's life for the night, but not before experiencing some of the much darker sides of the city within the Panther's grasp.

The boy went missing from his past life, unable to return in fear his new boss might use his family against him. So now Hanbei lives his life dealing drugs (And rather well) for his gang leader and trying to keep his head from being blasted at.

One wrong move or bad deal and Hanbei could find himself dead upon the cold concrete ground. As happy-go-lucky as he appears to others, he is truly just a terrified child trapped in the Panther's shadow.
