Maker:
Boy and Girl Doll
Head Sculpt:
Gwilym
Skintone:
Normal Yellow
Body:
Type 3 1/3 Body
Sex:
Female
  • Face-up artist(s):
    Unknown, possibly factory
    Body blushing artist(s):
    N/A
    Modifications artist(s):
    N/A
    Tattoo artist(s):
    N/A
    Date of acquisition:
    1/4/16
    Provenance:
    Straight from the company to her previous owner, who was leaving the hobby, so I think they deleted their Den of Angels. I bought her from her previous owner over facebook.
    Reason for choice:
    I had been keeping my eye out for an SD girl since receiving my MSD, noting that I wanted a doll that was heavier and larger for sensory reasons. I saw the smoky soft faceup and the elegant hands and knew I wanted her.
    Best Points:
    Her overall body shape is gorgeous. Her lower body piece, hands, and face sculpt are reminiscent of Fairyland's Aesthetics, while her bust, hands, feet, and legs are closer to Dollzone, making her somewhat of a mix of my two previous dolls (AE head/DZ body MSD and FL Littlefee). Once you've convinced her to stand, she'll stand for a very long time, and will hold poses quite well, in general.
    Her weight and size are perfect for holding for long periods of time (in my case).
    Worst Points:
    Her joint parts are a shape that I don't like much. Her elbows have a flat side that is very visible and sticks out a lot, which is aesthetically displeasing. Her faceup has a few flaws I wish were less noticeable. She takes a bit of adjusting to stand, because her ankles are somewhat loose, so she can only stand in a few poses. She's also my only doll without a hip joint, which takes some getting used to, and unlike my other two dolls, her bust/shoulder piece does NOT stay put once posed, so she cannot slouch or bend back at all, which is a lot like not having a bust/shoulder piece.

  • Eyes:
    Asleep Eidolon default green
    Wig:
    Unknown manufacturer.
    Favourite colours:
    Grey, navy, black, army green
    Fashion style(s):
    Mostly grey, long sleeved tops that are usually a little large paired with billowing skirts.
    Key fashion accessory:
    Her navy skirt, which reads "EMBALM AND SCARY ON" inside a lace border.
    Since she's the doll I hold the most and use more often than not as a comfort object, I tend to put her in clothes that not only fit her aesthetic, but feel good to touch. Soft cotton or jersey fabric is comforting to me, so that's what I tend to put her in. The bottom of her skirt has a firm and pleated hem that is nice to fidget with, the bottoms of her shoes are soft and comforting to touch with my fingertips while holding her, and usually whatever shirt I put her in is soft, stretchy, or some other comforting texture. It's good for my anxiety to handle such things.
  • Name story:
    I had a friend named Hannah, and I once promised her that I would name my first BJD after her. Once I got my first, I realized she would be for my story, so her name was Ahnura instead. Then I got my second, and she too went into my story, so she was Nidria. Once I finally got one who wasn't connected to the story, she became Hannah.
    Character age:
    Around 23/25
    Character gender:
    Femme-Nonbinary
    Offsite roleplay:
    This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
    Hannah is not very well developed because the doll mostly serves as a stimming tool/anxiety cure, so she doesn't have much of a personality.
    She's strong, protective, and mysterious, and that's all I know.
