Harley is a member of my fantasy worlds International Defense Corps. They are an apolitical group that gives aid to multiple countries to help deal with incidents such as monster attacks, natural disaster relief, kidnapping incidents, cults, and other non political related incidents. Most members, including Harley, have at least some skill in magic. Harley in particular, is skilled in lightning based magic, and has been called a living tazer on occasion.

Harley is sweet, enthusiastic, a little awkward, and energetic. He loves exercising and exploring, and joined the IDC in hopes of traveling the world and seeing new places. He also enjoys crafting and creative pursuits, although he is not particularly artistic. His most successful attempts have been in crochet, and he has made several pieces that he's given as gifts to friends.

During an attack on a village by a cult that worships werewolves, Harley was bitten, and forced to choose between getting preventative treatment and saving more people. Harley obviously chose others lives over his own, and was infected and turned into a werewolf. Luckily, which he wasn't treated in time to prevent his transformation, he did receive enough to prevent him from becoming contagious to others. While Harley is somewhat uncomfortable with the changes in his body and appearance, he has met several times with werewolves in the community who have helped him with the transition.

Harley has been dating the Prince of Marine del Sur, Milo, since shortly after rescuing him from a kidnapping attempt by a group of overzealous criminals hoping to ransom him for his family's royal treasures. Harley is very smitten with Milo, and eager to please, and enjoys introducing the sheltered prince to things he hasn't encountered before.

----------A SMALL NOTE ABOUT WEREWOLVES IN MY CANON----------
Werewolves, excluding a few extremist groups and cults, are mostly normal people, and treated as such within their community. Many werewolves voluntarily take suppressants to prevent them from being contagious to others, although it typically is only spread through saliva or blood. Werewolfism can be inherited normally from parents, and there are many people who were simply born into werewolf families. There are also some people who have willingly become werewolves, either out of personal preference or for medical reasons (as werewolves have excellent healing capabilities and are resistant to several diseases). Many support groups have been developed for both willing transformees and those who were forcibly changed by others. While forceful transformations are at an all time low, and are highly illegal, they do still occur. The particular cult mentioned above believe that werewolfism is a sacred condition and want to convert as many people as possible.

Conversion to a werewolf through transmission of the were vector typically occurs in several stages, including the initial infection, transformation, and eventual production of the vector within the transformee's own bodily fluids. Any of these stages can be interrupted with a variety of magical and medical treatments, although treatment must be made rapidly in order to be effective. In Harley's case, the time from being bitten to being treated was over an hour, which is the turning point past which the bodily transformation can be prevented. However, vector production does not initiate until at least 24-48 hours post transformation completion, and can be prevented entirely with another set of treatments. The initial bodily transformation is typically accompanied with side effects such as soreness, fever, mild delirium, and mild dehydration. The transformee may also switch involuntarily between wolf and humanoid form.
