Skintone:
Normal Skin
Body:
old style EID Woman medium bust, general thigh

  • Face-up artist(s):
    Initially Iplehouse; most recently Sisen (S. Isenbarger)
    Body blushing artist(s):
    S. Isenbarger
    Date of acquisition:
    Spring 2012
    Provenance:
    Body purchased from one person; Jessica head from another person a couple of months later (I think both through Prego?). For the interval, Hue actually only had a shaped Styrofoam ball head wearing a Monique "Hannah" wig--and I loved this doll anyway.
    Reason for choice:
    I needed to start somewhere with Iple EIDs, and this doll became available at an affordable price.
    Best Points:
    My first introduction to Iplehouse dolls and BJDs, and she utterly charmed me at first sight.
    Worst Points:
    The colour change that occurs over time (sadly even sometimes on dolls kept in their original boxes) is just something one has to accept.

    I believe the quote was, now let me see--"Quaint elegance."

    Her rings, done by Sherry Isenbarger at my request--from photos I sent her.

    female
    Offsite roleplay:
    This doll's character is not available for offsite roleplay.
    Lady Hue became Queen after narrowly escaping the coup d'état launched by her treacherous uncle in which her father, King William of Alcott Doane, was believed to have been killed. Married to Allaric Uwain Montagu Morven Reynauld in an alliance designed to strengthen both kingdoms--his impoverished but strong, hers wealthy but weakened after the power struggle. Theirs was not an easy relationship in early days and it was only the birth of their first child, The Princess Evelyn Rose (Rosie), that His Royal Dollness' cold and bitter heart was sufficiently changed to make happiness possible. Hue and Allaric eventually have six children, and members of their extended family are gradually being added in doll form.
