Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     Hiro is my first bjd. I chose him because I was curious about the hobby but didn't know if I would like this style doll, so I chose a sculpt I like with the lowest price I could find. Funny newbie story: I wanted the female version, Natalia so I could have a girly girl, but didn’t understand the process. When my giant box showed up, imagine my surprise to find a male. His smile won me over so I kept him.

    Hiro and his family were part of the Corp Adjacent world. His family ran Sam’s Sushi in the shopping area of Pantheon Systems. Hiro is the youngest sibling, which means he does all the jobs his elders sibs don’t want to do. Because of this, he hasn’t been trained to make sushi. The most food prep training he got was making ramen broth, which he excels at and enjoys.

    Pantheon Systems is the lesser of the Corp evils, proving health care and education for everyone in their compound. In junior high, he wanted to take an ancient history class, but due to his restaurant duties, he missed the sing up deadline. The only course left was intro to hardware, which is considered a “class for babies” by the Corp kids. He needed the class and found his calling: creating and tinkering with hardware. Hiro took to it like a duck to water. With the very small class size and his natural enthusiasm, Hiro got a lot of attention from the instructor, Claudius, who became a mentor and father figure to Hiro.

    Halfway through his sophomore year, Pantheon was the victim of a hostile takeover by Takashima. The new corp cut costs by removing benefits for the corp adjacent, which included cancelling classes and firing teachers for classes favored by the corp adjacent students. Hiro was booted out of high school and Claudius was fired. Hiro and Claudius met for a while and Claudius transferred his knowledge to Hiro.

    Claudius was a skilled hacker and tech, hired by Pantheon after he was caught infiltrating Pantheon’s security systems. Takashima was not so forgiving of hackers. One day, Claudius vanished. When he heard that The Pinkhams took a lot of contracts with Takashima, Hiro was determined to get on their crew and stick it to Takashima.
