Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     This (actually my second Superhero Akando) doll came to me from a previous owner in TX via Prego.
    Reason for choice:
    Her Royal Dollness chose him as a suitable match because she saw great potential in the doll he would one day become.
    Best Points:
    Akando head sculpt + Laurie's brilliant face-up + old style EID Man Superhero body = oh YES I love this doll.
    Worst Points:
    Not only has his colour changed with time, but before he came to me he was displayed in a sunny location and shows fading. He is still such a gorgeous colour inside it nearly makes me weep.

    Allaric is the eldest of twin sons born to an impoverished laird who foolishly married the beautiful but heartless daughter of a royal family from the continent. After having rebelliously married merely to spite her parents, Allaric's mother suddenly found herself far away from the lavish court she'd grown up in--mired in a penniless kingdom with a tiresome man whose provincial accent she hated more with every passing day. Sadly, not even the impending birth of her first child brought her any joy...and when it was discovered she was expecting twins her selfish desperation only increased. Leaving her husband and newborn sons behind, she fled in the night--determined never to be without every luxury her parents' money could buy ever again.

    Allaric and Auberon grew up without ever knowing her, but having full view of the wreck of a man she'd left behind. Allaric became grim, cold, and controlling; Auberon became reckless and rebellious. He went to sea as soon as he was old enough to stop being caught by his father's men when he tried to make his escape on one of the numerous ships that docked at the village.

    Allaric's opportunity to marry the daughter of a wealthy king--no, now a very young queen--was too good to pass up. His father's realm desperately needed an influx of gold--and her realm desperately needed an influx of strength. However, he was completely unprepared for the hold this quiet beauty would have on his angry heart.
