Reason for choice:

I really fell in love with LUTS dolls, and chose An because he has the modest and well proportioned face. He reminded me of Major Kusinage's face from Ghost in the Shell (1995) I carefully chose this one because I wanted a middle sized standard and simple doll that would prove versitile with any clothing or style.

Best Points:

very good quality, stands well, with the faceup done to a high degree, that wasn't too impressive, modest yet brilliant.

Worst Points:

nothing I couldn't blame a doll for.

there isn't much on Howl, other than his simple and enchanting life by the shore and in the forest.
He is top quality still, from the first day I got him, in his immortal stature.

his hair style is simply taken from a CLAMP graphic novel, I imagined him to wear cozy and modern fashion.

Name story:

Howl - I definitely took this from Howl's moving castle which indicates something of his character.
he's a bit of a Peter Pan, that never wants to grow up.

Howl, young for now, he wanders his lonely seaside town sketching and painting, spends all his time haunting the local cafe, and by night slowly makes his way to his home by lamplight through the forests surrounding his house. He has a girlfirend called Ana that hurtfully never manages to stay, she busys herself about town, doing just what Howl does: painting, yet she can only spend the odd night with him.
Howl trys not to grow needy for her, so he is forever subdued within his lonliness. and focuses all his energy on Art.
