A fearsome, gargoyle-like creature known as a "Behinder" (So-named for their habit of sneaking up and pouncing on unwary travelers from behind-), Huck was found orphaned and raised up by Granny Birch, the local wisewoman.

He's proven no good at learning the old witch's trade in potions and poppets, but his knack for finding 'sang and other valuable herbs is uncanny. If you ever need a rare midnight toadstool, a mandrake's root or a hank of devil's alder, this shy little monster is the one who can lay hands on it.
