"Ethereal and white" are my two main concepts for Iô. Also the Youtuber Drac Makens was a huge influence on her faceup. I have made a project journal for her here.

Iô is the moon. She visits when she is not full, for she is too busy being the moon at that time. During the new moon you might actually touch her, but during all other phases she may appear as a ghost. She could be almost tangible during a crescent, or faint and ethereal during a gibbous. She wonders the night, curious about this strange and unique planet she orbits.
