Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.     Ismaire is named after Queen Ismaire from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones back when I played it ~2010. When I started to shell Ismaire into a BJD, My Ismaire's striking red hair is a tribute to her namesake.

    The concept of Ismaire actually existed since ~2011 as a fantasy adventurer paired with another original character named Caella. Their story was never truly fleshed out except for a general story outline that didn't spark enough of my interest to pursue. Instead, I ended up using Ismaire's name for various otomes (dating simulators) for a couple years until 2016. Ismaire's original concept included: a more masculine personality (and generally a more ambiguous/metrosexual look); long silver hair with a side-part; striking teal blue eyes; dark, formal gothic suit/attire; and a two-handed broadsword. Ismaire's otome concept included: an extremely feminine personality common to otomes; shoulder-length brown hair; warm chocolate brown eyes; large lacy, poofy, fantasy dresses; and a slew of accessories to woo men.

    So it's safe to say that she didn't have a solid look until I shelled her into a BJD - the firey hair and warm brown eyes are here to stay! Her fashion, however, is much more mercurial.

    Currently, I use her sculpt for looking pretty and dress-up than for creating stories from. Since Ismaire is the first doll I ever received, she has the BJD version of plot-armor and I will never rehome her.
