Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     First doll I felt could shell my character perfectly. Saw her before getting into the hobby for real, and knew I wanted her.

    Isobel was the first thought that came into my mind when I thought "dolls". I met my girlfriend 4 years ago, and she told me a bit about her hobby. When we started dating I didn't really care that much about her "dolls", but as she slowly explained to me the features and characteristics, because truth was I wanted to engage in her hobby and get to know it, so she wouldn't be talking to a wall all the time, I realized this was much the same as my Warhammer figurines, back in the day.
    Isobel was the first of my characters that I could imagine being a doll. I didn't even know it was called "shelling a doll", I just knew I had to put her into a doll, and my girlfriend, having read some of my stories wherin Isobel is present, tried to help me find a sculpt. I discovered the Soom Vezuvia, and I just had to wait until I found one on the second-hand market (with help from my girlfriend).
    I got her after I got my first doll, an Iplehouse Violet, but she's still kinda my first "REAL" doll. I love her, adore her, I can feel it to my bones when I look at her through the glass door to her cabinet.
