Provenance:

I am her first owner; I bought her through Mint on Card.

Reason for choice:

I was considering getting a bjd but had no idea where to begin; a friend linked me to MoC and I started going down the companies in alphabetical order. I happened upon a female Lynn and knew she was the one.

Best Points:

Her faceup is absolutely gorgeous. She's also rather good at standing up on her own.

Worst Points:

Her strings were strung WAY TOO TIGHT, and as a new bjd owner I have no idea how to fix that. :( I have to use pliers to undo her head from her neck and it's just awful.
Also, her eyes look like black holes, but that MAY be the type of eyes rather than her eyeshape. I hope to find that out soon when I get her a new pair of eyes...

Jade is a princess of a land called the mirror world. When she was young her father separated Jade from her brother and the two moved to the real world. Jade lives a normal life with her mother and step-father until one fateful day upon visiting her father's book shop; inside she found a mirror that whisked her away to another world. It was here that she was reunited with her brother and met her sweetheart; Oren, who was also from the real world. The three of them would become good friends and have many adventures together.
Jade considers herself a very confident young woman, but deep down she has doubts about herself which are thrown into further turmoil when she learns about the mirror world. Regardless of what she thinks, Jade is a very kind-hearted young girl who would help anyone in need, whether she knows them or not.
