Reason for choice:

I was in love with both her face sculpt and the shape of her body. I knew she would work perfectly for my character and I was not at all disappointed.

Best Points:

She is absolutely gorgeous. She is very sturdy and her torso joint helps her pose really well and take on some more natural stances. I adore the shape of her hips and thighs and her lips are gorgeous! I also love her resin color, I felt like I took a risk choosing it since I couldn't find many reference pictures and I ended up loving it!

Worst Points:

The Impldoll resin is very shiny, but I plan to give her a coat of matte sealant to hopefully tone it down. I also really wish that she had mobility thigh joints to give her legs more posing options.

Jakuon is rarely seen without a serious demeanor, always keeping herself on high alert. She’s protective, especially when it comes to Kei, whom she believes is unable to take care of himself. She is an android who was created to be the companion of a young woman named Cheri. Jaku was quiet and reserved, though treated well by her owner, and often spoiled with gifts. But because Jaku never showed she was happy, her owner was afraid she wasn’t doing enough for her.

Cheri surprised Jaku with the most momentous gift she could think of, which was another android to keep her company. That android ended up being Kei, and for the most part, Jaku was annoyed with him and how immature he was. After some time, they eventually begin to get along and understand each other, even to the point where the two could call themselves friends.

Cheri falls on financially hard times, however, and assuming that Kei is one of the many things that doesn’t make Jaku happy, she decides to have Kei deactivated and sold for parts. Jaku is absolutely horrified by her decision, finding it unforgivable that she would so easily disregard the life of an android. Jaku finds it unbearable to discuss it with her, so instead she takes Kei and runs away with him.

The two of them make their way to the city of Los Dios, where they pose as a human married couple since androids do not have the right to live without owners, and the two are still registered as Cheri’s property. It is not long until they are discovered, but luckily it is Seth who locates them. He finds their situation to be sympathetic, and instead of turning them over, uses his knowledge of the laws and corresponding loopholes so he can take them into his care instead -- as long as they can assist with his current investigation, otherwise he has no authority to keep them with him.

Because of what happened with her original owner, Jaku is extremely distrustful of humans, and it takes a long time before she warms up to even Seth. She has become paranoid to the point she is sometimes too afraid to even step outside, and is often angry at Kei for being careless when she tries to keep him safe.

Under Seth’s care, Jaku and Kei begin working at Genesis undercover as both fashion models and pop idols, which is very against Jaku’s stance of drawing in as little attention as possible. But she has little choice… even though once she begins performing, she realizes she enjoys singing on stage, able to let herself and her insecurities go for a brief few hours at a time.
