Reason for choice:

I wanted to add a child with another color of skin to our group. I liked the faceup his first owner had given him, and his red eyelashes! He was affordable, and he came with some nice handmade clothes.

Best Points:

Almost everything! (see below)

Worst Points:

His face has such delicate features that I haven't been able to find a wig that I think really suits him. In my opinion, they all look too bushy & overwhelm his face. I think I shall have to try making one for him.

Eyes:

Green acrylic eyes I had on hand, (since he came without eyes) that I scavenged out of a cracked ceramic head.

Wig:

He shares a box of assorted 7-8 size wigs with his friend Kit. Right now an unbranded caramel color fur wig that Kit used to wear seems to be his favorite

I used a name book and tried a bunch of names on him, but he only responded to Jamie.

Jamie is a tall, slender 14 year old boy with a delicate and refined appearance. His mother raised him very close to her, isolated from all knowledge of his father. Then recently, she suddenly and inexplicably stepped out of the picture and Jamie joined our household. Jamie is very intelligent but understandably insecure about his new situation, and seems shy and tentative. He is best friends with Kit, since at first those two were the only young boys here. With the arrival of his previously unknown father, Jamie now has the distinction of being the only one of the 5 boys who actually has a biological parent on the scene. This has raised his stock amongst the other boys considerably. It doesn't hurt, either, that his father - 'Drake Vincent' - is very, very cool.
