I was born Teimhean O'Doire in North Ireland, some time around Solstice in the dead of the Famine. I’m a hundred and sixty years old or so, and I’m a natural-born Fire Mage.

My name now is Jedah Shestin and I am not the man your Mother warned you about. I'm worse. I've been a corporate thug, babysitter, private assassin, debt collector, and bounty hunter. I'm exactly the guy you don't want to meet on the street. Probably because if you're female, I'll escort you across with pleasant conversation. But that's just who I am.

I'm owned by a man by the name of Valen Ravenswing, and he's a demon. Now, don't get me wrong; he is. He's a Demon Lord, to be precise, and I entered a contract with him to save my brother's life, which makes me a puppet. So I’m not always the best person, indeed I am far, far from it.
