Reason for choice:

I'd always loved Iec Bullet's modded F29s and wanted one for myself. Getting Jenova's headmold was a dream. He ended up being perfect for his character.

Best Points:

After switching out his Volks SD13 body, he's felt more himself. I have a soft spot for the old F29 headmolds and Jenova is no exception.

Worst Points:

The Dollstown body is nice, save the cankles. There's a serious issue with the thickness of their ankles, but they are easily hidden with boots. The only other issues I had were the hands, but keeping the original Volks hands to hybrid fixed that as well. Though in hybridizing, the neck on the Dollstown body is way short because their heads fit differently, where as the Volks heads are deep meant for a longer neck, so I had to work it a bit by adding a bunch of kips to the top and a rubber stopper in order to elevate him up a little, otherwise Jenova would look like his head is resting on his shoulders. I could prolly fix it by actually modding his neck with an extension of epoxy or some such, but eh.

Name story:

I wanted my own version of a Sephiroth (in looks, not in character) but didn't want to just name him Sephiroth, since he wasn't going to be the same. So my ex suggested I go with Jenova to keep the theme, and that's what I did.

Character age:

n/a -basically, pre-form he came into existance when the Earth was formed, so his consciousness is as old as the Earth, but his body was created a couple (perhaps hundreds of) thousand years ago, so his age is debatable between them.

When the Earth was forming, the runoff of life (aka chaos) also came to be. It then split apart and formed separate consciousnesses, existing in a formless state at the planet's core... until Hesue came along and decided to use the chaotic entities he found here to break the losing streak he'd been going through during a set of games between himself and his Other. Most of the entities agreed to the form they were being offered, Jenova did not. Hesue forced him into it anyway and in a fit of anger, Jenova got retribution by committing genocide against his own people. The last of his kind by his own hand, and trapped in a created shell he couldn't escape, Jenova sealed himself in his own city where he spent the next few thousand years alone and immobile, trying to reconcile himself to his new form... Jenova is an ancient, considered Demon though he pre-dates all Demon Clans. He's arrogant and cocky, cold and detached and he cares for nothing and nobody, save one person -Fuan. He's literally the embodiment of chaos. He both began and owns the Angel Hunt Corporation, though in modern times he's little more than a figure head because he's taken a step back from the company itself (having no more use for it). In 2008 he was married to Megumi for reasons that were his own. The marriage is in name only, as he and Megumi are not a couple beyond the paperwork for benefit of the Takashi Family itself.
