Johann was a medic for an exploration team. During one expedition, they were trapped in a snowstorm and, fearing for his life, he killed them to survive, eating their bodies. After that, the changes began and he became a wendigo. After leaving the mountain, he still craved human meat and did everything he could to make it stop, but ended up killing again. To atone for the horrendous acts he had committed and will likely commit again, he became a traveling doctor to hopefully heal more people than he hurts.
