Katarina Jakob Vogt, who goes by Kat, has gone through a lot. On their 13th birthday, when their family and them self were going to go to celebrate, they were involved in a car accident that killed both of their parents. This caused Kat to become very self-destructive, including self-harming and being extremely suicidal. Now, at 22, and moving from their birth place of Russia to Seattle, they are still battling their self-hatred, but they have their close friends and boyfriend to help them out.
