Reason for choice:

I just liked the LuWen headmold and thought he'd be perfect for Lan.

Best Points:

I love how soft the headmold is and how slender the body is.

Worst Points:

The LuWen headmold can be difficult, mainly because its a normal melon head with his features all squished near the bottom. If you don't find his angles, he can look wonky real fast. The body is slender, which is why I chose it over having a default Delf bod, but it's not engineered very well so there are issues with the posing and joints. I've learned to work around them over the years, but it can still be challenging at times.

Name story:

His name means white fire, which was appropriate to his character (he's an elemental hybrid), and why I chose it.

He's not active until the FEY20 timeline, but at that point he's in his 50's or so (as a Selestarri, he ages differently than humans, so it's the equivalent of about mid 20's)

Lan has several different universe character representations. In the RU (Real Universe), he's a FE (Future Effects) character who makes his first appearance in Year20. In AU01, he's a teen (the Selestarri equivalent of it anyway), and in AU02, he's an adult.

In all universes, he's an Bright Selestarri (race belonging to Evphaedrielle) fire elemental hybrid, and the reasons for this vary from universe to universe. In FE20, he and his partner Halacie got ambushed while on assignment in present day by a group of Angelic Enforcers. Halacie was killed and Lan was captured, then sent off to one of the Angel Hunt Corp's many intake labs where he spent near 20 years being experimented on and mutilated. When they introduced Angelic DNA into him, it clashed with his Selestarri genetics and he became a fire elemental hybrid. He was able to break free and he fled across the world to escape them, only to end up in Japan on Evphaedrielle's Sashi's doorstep where their story began. In AU01, he's a Bright Selestarri on assignment at a school run by the Angel Hunt Corp along with his childhood friend Halacie, two Dark Selestarri -Evphaedrielle's Sashi and Zephyr, and my Jun and Taz. He's there to unlock the secrets that the school holds while dealing with all the dramus that come along with it. In AU02, when he was a child, he and his friend Halacie got a hold of some forbidden magic that was far beyond their years and it caused an accident that mutated his Selestarri genetics while killing Halacie in the process. He was shunned and isolated for the accident, and as an adult, he decided to assign himself as a teacher to the same school Evphaedrielle's Sashi and Zephyr, and my Jun are in, just to pass the time... No matter the universe, Lan is a kind and gentle person. He's patient and understanding, and when he loves, he does so deeply. He's usually either in a relationship with the second (or first, depending on the universe) love of his life, Evphaedrielle's Sashi, or he's on the way to it. He has many scars from either the experiments or failures of magic done to him, and while in some universes he hides them, in many others he doesn't. He can be withdrawn and melancholy when his pasts catch up to him, and in all Universes he struggles to control the foreign magic/genetics in him, but he usually does so with an outward smile. He's fiercely loyal and protective of the person he loves, is a great cook and generally an all around nice guy.
