Keishi is energetic and curious about the world, not having much of a chance to experience and learn about it thanks to Jaku being overprotective and often restricting what he is allowed to do. Because of that, he can be very naive, and can come off as childish. Sometimes he will sneak off on his own against Jaku’s wishes, which often gets him an angry talking to after he’s been discovered. More than once he has gotten himself into trouble, and either Seth or Jaku have had to come help him out of it.

He has an almost extreme inferiority complex, striving to be the best at everything he tries and getting extremely envious of those better than him. But he’s also terrified of being unwanted and tossed aside, always wanting reassurance that he isn’t a complete burden. Unlike Jaku, he absolutely loves attention, both positive and negative, and will sometimes go out of his way to get if if he feels he doesn’t have enough.

Even though he makes mistakes, he does his best to be a loyal friend, even if he can sometimes be oblivious to other people’s feelings. He is not great at reading others and often needs additional prodding before he realizes something is wrong. But once he realizes that someone he cares about is having a difficult time, he will do anything he can to help them out.
