He was the heir of the Fukujin family, the famous Kitzune clan, 'cos He was the first nephew of Togai, the actual clan leader. for that, since childhood he was subjected to a very rigid education and etiquette, very stressfull and without affection. He was a very sensible and shy child, and He suffer a lot for this condition and solitude for his future role. The only friend in his life are Thoru and Masao, childhood friend of the same age and future heir of the rispective clan, so in the short free time they had, They shared the complain for their condition. When he was entering in middle school, Shin, his cousin, was born. He was a powerful child, born for a contract with the god of war, and Togai designated him as his new heir (because in the Fukujin family tradition, the clan leader is the most powerful, male or female). Kei was initially shocked, but relieved to yeld the heavy burden... But the more time passed, the greater his envy and resentment: seeing Shin grow and learn so fast, all the family love him and pay attention to him, while he went forward now without a purpose, without consideration, abandoned by all. He has lost everything because of Shin, but not his cunning and intelligence: he become the "right arm" of Togai, more and more infirm for the battle and the old age, and with the "left hand" conspire and try to embarass Shin in every way ;D
